We were outside yesterday morning in Switzerland, in an outlet village doing some shopping. When we finished, while going to take our car, I was thinking: "Well, now I'll make some Rice Salad for lunch..." The thought was like a thunder: My God! I forgot to close the gas in the kitchen... I left on the fire two eggs to get boiled and forgot to turn it off before closing the house!
While rushing home (it takes around an hour by car, and the eggs have been boiling for more than two hours already), I called the neighbour asking him to pay attention if he should see fire to call the firemen. What a heart-attack!
Then suddenly I got an idea, I called again my neighbour and asked if he could close the gas from outside the building, the answer was positive. Thus, I got a full relief.
When I opened the door of the entrance, the only disasters was the burning smell and some smoke.
No other person besides this neighbour was able to do that job, because he fortunately has the special key to open the niche where the gas counter is situated. Of course, I came to know this only at the moment when I tried to restore the crank.
Should I call it 'Good Luck'?
